Portugal fixed telephony customers up 2% in H1, traffic grows 9%

The number of direct access fixed telephony customers in Portugal reached 4.2 million at the end of the first half of 2020, up 2.3 percent on a year earlier. Anacom attributed the growth to more households taking multi-play packages. The penetration rate reached 50 percent of the population.
