Portugal leads in EU for lowering communication prices - Apritel

The Association of Electronic Communications Operators (Apritel) has issued a statement saying that Portugal is "leading the drop in telecommunication prices" in the EU, based on Eurostat data from April, reports Lusa. Apritel said that on average, over the past twelve months, the price index has fallen by 0.9 percent in Portugal and by only 0.2 percent in the EU-2. As for bundled services, Portugal had the second-largest decline in prices in the last twelve months at 2.5 percent, behind only Greece at 3.2 percent.
