Portugal maintains prices for island links

Portugal's National Communications Authority (Anacom) has decided to maintain the current price caps for circuits linking mainland Portugal and the autonomous regions of the Azores and Madeira (so-called CAM circuits) and between several islands of the Azores (inter-island circuits). The prices will be maintained until the next annual review. This price review results from Anacom's decision of 1 September 2016 to analyze the wholesale market for high-quality electronic communications at a fixed location, imposing on Meo the obligation to control prices, including the obligation to link prices
