Portugal proposes increased security measures to combat network failures

Portugal's National Communications Authority (Anacom) has launched a 30-day public consultation  on a draft Regulation on the Safety of Communications Networks and Services. This comes after failures registered last year, specifically in the aftermath of the forest fires of 15 October, made more evident the dependence of the country on well-functioning networks.
