Portugal Telecom sees 7.1% drop in Q2 revenue

Portugal Telecom ended the second quarter with a 7.1 percent drop in revenue year-on year to EUR 590 million. On a sequential basis, the revenue was down by 0.5 percent from EUR 593 million in the first quarter. The mobile business saw ARPU decline by 3.6 percent year on year to EUR 7.10. EBITDA dropped 7.8 percent to EUR 225 million and the EBITDA margin shrank by 0.3 percent to 38.2 percent.
