Portugal updates 700 MHz auction schedule

Wednesday 16 September 2020 | 13:47 CET | News
Portugal's National Communications Agency (Anacom) announced it has approved changes in the timetable for the allocation of rights in the 700 MHz band for 5G services. This follows the suspension of the public consultation procedure earlier this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The expectation is that the auction regulations will be approved in September and that the auction will begin in October, with the conclusion of the award procedures in early 2021.
