Portuguese govt to announce 5G strategy in September

The Portuguese government will present a national 5G coverage strategy in September, announced the Deputy Secretary of State and Communications, Alberto Souto de Miranda. He recalled that the frequency band currently used by DTT will have to be freed up for 5G, adding that this will be done "without changes or disruptions for users."
