Portuguese ISPs report fixed internet traffic up to 70% higher than normal

With most of the population confined at home due to the coronavirus pandemic, fixed internet traffic in Portugal has skyrocketed, reports Jornal de Negocios. In the week 16-22 March, Meo recorded a 35 percent increase in data consumption via fixed internet compared to the previous week, while the increase on the mobile network was 10 percent.
