Portuguese online music audience exceeds 4 million people

Marktest's Bareme Internet 2020 study has identified 4.32 million residents in Continental Portugal, aged 15 years and more, who claim to listen to music online, or 47.1 percent of the total analysed. This habit is more prevalent among young people aged 15-24 (92.8%), and the rate drops to 5.9 percent among individuals over 64 years old. YouTube is the most commonly used platform to listen to music online, mentioned by 40.5 percent of respondents, followed by Spotify, mentioned by 17.1 percent.
