Portuguese operators call out Anacom over changes to 5G auction rules

Wednesday 2 June 2021 | 14:56 CET | News
Portuguese operator Nos has accused Portugal's National Communications Authority (Anacom) of "incompetence" and of crossing all limits of "gross negligence". The accusation follows the regulator's decision to change the 5G auction in the middle of the process, reports Economia Online. A Nos source also expressed surprise that "nobody is questioning the regulator and holding it responsible for the incalculable damage caused to the Portuguese", adding that Anacom is the "only responsible for the country's delay in 5G".
