Portuguese operators meet mobile coverage obligations

Portugal's National Communications Authority (Anacom) announced that the broadband coverage obligations imposed on Meo, Nos and Vodafone Portugal have been achieved, following the attribution of rights of use for frequencies in the 800 MHz band. These operators were expected to cover 480 parishes with no mobile broadband within six months and one year, respectively, for 50 percent and 100 percent of parishes, by 10 March.
