Portuguese pay-TV penetration rate reaches 86%

The penetration rate of pay-TV services in Portugal reached 86 percent at the end of the first half of 2019, up 1.7 percent year-on-year, according to data from the National Communications Authority (Anacom). There were around 4 million pay-TV subscribers, 132,000 more (+3.4%) than in the same period of 2018.
