Portuguese regulator reviews 4G internet speed obligations

Portugal's National Communications Authority (Anacom) has conducted a review of the internet speeds that Meo, Nos and Vodafone Portugal must provide in the 480 parishes with mobile broadband coverage obligations under the terms of the 4G frequency auction. Each operator covers 160 parishes. In the case of Nos, the speed increases from 4 Mbps to 21 Mbps; for Vodafone, it rises from 7.2 Mbps to 43.2 Mbps; and for Meo, it remains at 43.2 Mbps.
