Portuguese telecom operators worry about EU roaming rules

The Portuguese Telecommunications Operators Association (Apritel) has warned that the new roaming rules in Europe will put pressure on national mobile operators' revenues and are "damaging" to Portugal. Speaking to the Lusa news agency, an Apritel official source pointed out that roaming revenues will be eliminated despite increased costs for the provision of roaming services.
