Portuguese telecoms invest EUR 5 billion in five years - study

Portuguese telecommunications operators have invested EUR 5 billion in the past five years, contributing 2.3 percent of GDP and representing 17,265 direct jobs, according to a report from the Association of Telecommunications Operators (Apritel). The ratio of investments to revenue is the highest in Europe, the group claims.
