Post selects Nokia to prepare XGS-PON network upgrade in Luxembourg

Nokia has strengthened its long-term partnership with Post Luxembourg with a new seven-year contract, confirming its role as main supplier for the operator's fixed access network. Under the deal, Post will deploy Nokia's Multi-PON optical line cards, which support GPON and XGS-PON simultaneously. With the planned upgrade to a XGS-PON fibre platform, the operator's network roadmap will see the current maximum speed of 2.5 Gbps increase to 10 Gbps.
