PostNL tries out BLE beacons to track containers

The Dutch postal service PostNL has started working with Bluetooth Low Energy beacons at its sorting centre in Zaltbommel. It plans to deploy beacons on around 250,000 containers to help track movements in the facility. This should help optimise logistics, moving the organisation close to a real-time tracking system.
