Potraz and Reserve Bank discuss mobile money regulation

The Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority in Zimbabwe (Potraz) and the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) are working on an MoU to clarify how the mobile money services platform should be regulated, the Financial Gazette reported. In spite of the successes of mobile money, Zimbabwe does not have regulatory frameworks for restitution of users, should any of the platforms collapse.
