Potraz sets up base stations and Community Information Centres in Matabeleland South

The Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz) has established four shared base station towers and thirteen Community Information Centres (CICs) in Matabeleland South province to improve access to ICT and bridge the digital divide between rural and urban areas, The Chronicle reported. The four base stations are in Manama (Gwanda), Hangwa, Maitengwe (Bulilima) and Mayobhodo in Mangwe District. Using the Universal Services Fund (USF), Potraz has been championing similar projects across the country.
