POTRAZ to construct 15 base stations in rural areas

The Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ) is spearheading the construction of fifteen base stations in rural areas to enhance connectivity and access to e-learning for students during Covid-19 lockdowns and in future, The Herald reported. The initiative is being undertaken in conjunction with mobile network operators and aims to bridge the digital divide between rural communities and urban centres.
