President directs NCC to ensure even distribution of broadband in Nigeria

President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to ensure that all corners of the country are captured by the broadband deployment programme aimed at enhancing of socio-economic development, CommunicationsWeek reported. Umar Garba Dambatta, the NCC executive vice-chairman, said the country has been divided into seven zones for the deployment, namely North-west, North-east, North-central, South-south, South-east, South-west, and Lagos.
