Prestadesk launches mobile banking app for any network

Republic of Congo microfinance ICT specialist Prestadesk has launched the Promot Mobile Banking service, which differs from Orange Money, MTN Money, M-Pesa or Airtel Mobile in that it is app-based and can be used on any type of phone and any mobile network. CTO Nadet Lambi-Bidzimou said that the new product follows on from the Promot internet bank transfer service and the Promot Mobile SMS money transfer service.Prestadesk is challenging what it calls mobile operators' monopoly in mobile money transfer services.
