Prisa also mulling appeal against Spanish DTT award

Spanish media conglomerate Prisa may join rival media group Vocento and lodge an appeal against the government's reported decision to grant six new DTT licences, reports website PRNoticias. The news comes after Spain's industry ministry informed bidders that Atresmedia, Mediaset, Real Madrid TV, Grupo Secuoya, 13TV and radio group Radio Blanca (Kiss FM) had been awarded the six licences, with Prisa, Vocento and supermarket giant El Corte Ingles missing out. Bidders have 10 days following publication of the decision in which to lodge an appeal. Prisa was looking to return to the audiovisual
