ProSiebenSat.1, General Atlantic buy The Meet Group for USD 500 mln

German broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 has acquired the online dating and social entertainment provider The Meet Group for an enterprise value of approximately USD 500 million, which corresponds to USD 6.30 per share, in a joint takeover with General Atlantic. The acquisition is expected to close in the  second half of 2020. The companies plan to build a global player in the online dating segment by combining NuCom's portfolio company Parship Group with The Meet Group.
