ProSiebenSat.1 invests in online platform Pluto TV

German media company ProSiebenSat.1 Group is investing in US-based online TV service Pluto TV, acquiring around 14 percent of its shares. As a result, ProSiebenSat.1 will become Pluto TV's largest shareholder. Scripps Networks is another new partner that will acquire a stake during this round of Pluto TV financing alongside current investors US Venture Partners and Sky Ventures. Pluto TV is an ad-funded online TV service offering over 100 linear live channels, and currently reaches more than 5 million active users per month.
