ProSiebenSat.1 Welt launches online service in South Africa

German television broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 Welt is planning to launch services in South Africa via mobile application and the web on smartphone or tablet devices. Popular German TV shows like 'Der letzte Bulle', 'Ladykracher' and 'Pastewka' will be available on the channel, Nextvame reported. The channel can be subscribed to for USD 10.61 per month. ProSiebenSat.1 Welt is being launched in seventeen other markets with South Africa being the only African country. According to the German Embassy in South Africa, some 2,000 Germans immigrate to South Africa each year.
