ProSiebenSat.1 withdraws 2020 outlook, dividend following impacts of Covid-19 on Q1 results

Thursday 23 April 2020 | 10:12 CET | News
German broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 said it is withdrawing its financial outlook for 2020 and the dividend proposal for the fiscal year 2019 due to economic uncertainties caused by the Covid-19 crisis. The company had performed well until mid-March, when the pandemic started to hit results across all its segments. In Q1, revenues grew by only 1 percent year-on-year to EUR 926 million compared with EUR 913 million in the prior year. Adjusted EBITDA fell by 17 percent to EUR 157 million, and adjusted net income decreased from EUR 94 million last year to EUR 58 million this year.
