Prosus sells 2% stake in Tencent for USD 14.6 billion

The holding company Prosus has sold a 2 percent stake in Tencent for USD 14.6 billion. The accelerated offering of nearly 192 million Tencent shares was conducted in a private placement on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The shares were priced at HKD 595 each, a 5.5 percent discount on Tencent's last closing price.
