Proxama, First Aberdeen rolls out NFC marketing platform

Proxama, provider of mobile proximity marketing, mobile wallet and payment services, has teamed with local transport company First Aberdeen to launch a new NFC-based customer engagement service. From 28 April, all advertising panels on board 20 First Aberdeen bendy buses, including seat backs, began carrying NFC and QR code messaging. This allows customers to use their smartphone to simply tap or scan the NFC and QR symbols to win prizes and learn more about the product or service advertised. First Aberdeen is believed to be the first bus company outside London to use NFC as a marketing
