PSA, Ford to co-develop infotainment system

PSA Peugeot Citroen and Ford are exploring potential synergies between their SmartDeviceLink open source platform and Car Easy Apps secure data exchange technologies. The carmakers have been collaborating in engines for 15 years and now contemplate extending their partnership to connected vehicles. So far they have agreed to work together on the development of the next generation of built-in infotainment systems and access to third-party apps. This project will involve the participation of Ford subsidiary Livio.
