PT takes pre-orders for 21 Mbps mobile broadband service

Portugal Telecom has rolled-out a pre-order period for its 21 Mbps mobile broadband service. Subscribers to PT's mobile and fixed broadband services TMN and Sapo can now register to the mobile broadband service at the TMN website and access speeds of 21 Mbps, up from the currently available maximum speeds of 7.2 Mbps. TMN and Sapo subscribers can also pre-register for the 14 / 21 Mbps tariff plan, with initial download speeds of up to 14 Mbps, which will be later upgraded to 21 Mbps. These users will also be able to access upload speeds of up to 5.8 Mbps, up from the currently available 1.4
