PTCL Group's Q1 revenue falls 5% on rupee devaluation, increase in interest rates

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) posted group revenue of PKR 31.8 billion for the first quarter of this year, which represents a decline of 5 percent year-on-year. The Group's operating profit and bottom line have deteriorated over last year due to rupee devaluation, increase in interest rates, higher power tariffs and the effects of covid-19 pandemic, the company said.
