PTS backs coverage obligations with 700 MHz allocation

Swedish postal and telecommunications regulator PTS has issued another study regarding use of the 700 MHz band, after an initial report was released last month. In January, the government decided to switch the 694 to 790 MHz frequencies from terrestrial television broadcasting to mobile communications from 01 April 2017. The report was commissioned by the government and looks at ways in which the 700 MHz band can be used to reach political targets.
