PTS may change bitstream access de-regulation proposal

Swedish postal and telecoms regulator PTS said it is holding a consultation regarding its draft analysis and regulation on the network infrastructure access market and the competitive situation in the market for bitstream access. Operators should submit their comments by 07 March. In autumn 2013, PTS recommended that the bistream market should stop being regulated as there were signs of a dynamic market, with TeliaSonera no longer dominant. Since then, there has been a shift in market share, following acquisitions by TeliaSonera. PTS therefore needs more time to analyse the effect these deals
