PTS may exempt some frequencies from licence requirements

Sunday 4 October 2015 | 09:32 CET | News
Swedish postal and telecoms regulator PTS said it has updated its spectrum allocation plan. It said it is looking into exempting the frequency bands 1785-1805 MHz, 870-876 MHz and 915-921 MHz from licence requirements for the use of wireless microphones and short-range devices (SRD) in future regulations. The aim is to find ways to make efficient use of radio spectrum in order to meet society's needs, said PTS.
