PTS orders Ovik Energi to let IP-Only lay ducts in same trench

Thursday 14 September 2017 | 13:02 CET | News
Swedish postal and telecoms regulator PTS has told Ovik Energi that it must allow IP-Only Network to lay ducts jointly with the utility in the same trench. Ovik Energi rejected IP-Only's request for joint ducting during the construction of a fibre network on the grounds that it had applied too late, that it did not fulfill the formal requirements of the broadband expansion law, and that the request was not reasonable. PTS has rejected all three of Ovik Energi's objections.
