PTS says demise of cash handling in Sweden risks excluding some people from payment system

Swedish postal and telecoms regulator PTS said it has sent the government a report about dwindling cash acceptance, under the title 'Basic payment services in a digital future'. Many banks have stopped handling cash and the report concerns opportunities to withdraw cash, pay bills and deposit daily takings, among other things.
