PTS says hardly anyone in Sweden lacks internet at 1 Mbps

Tuesday 13 October 2015 | 11:02 CET | News
Swedish postal and telecoms regulator PTS said the availability of telephony services and the internet at a minimum of 1 Mbps is very good in Sweden, but there is room for improvement. In its report 'Access to telephony and basic internet', the watchdog describes the work it does to ensure communication services for the whole of society. PTS said only about a dozen households had to get it to intervene in order for them to get services. It said very few residences and businesses were entirely lacking access.
