PTS says wireless, mobile networks best alternative to fibre

Swedish communications regulator PTS has published a 20-page PDF document to guide broadband coordinators and local and regional decision makers in the establishment of wireless networks. It said dedicated access using wireless connectivity or mobile networks is the most suitable system, as this is the method most comparable to fibre in terms of stability and guaranteed speed. It also fulfills EU requirements as a method suitable for public broadband funding, said PTS.
