PTS sees no reason to split up market 3b, plans consultation in spring

Wednesday 20 December 2017 | 12:30 CET | News
Swedish postal and telecoms regulator PTS  will hold a consultation on broadband market regulation in spring 2018. It has analysed information gathered in June 2017 on markets 3a and 3b for local and central access to network infrastructure and has found significant differences between SDUs (single dwelling units and smaller multiple family residences) and MDUs (larger multiple dwelling units). These differences are at end-user level and PTS has found less support for any such market division at wholesale level.
