PTS to continue monitoring broadband competition in 2019

Swedish communications regulator PTS said it will continue focusing on monitoring competition in the broadband sector during 2019 in order to foster expansion. In its plans for the year, it said it will examine pricing and will look at whether operators are following the rules to encourage expansion. It will also ensure protection of consumer rights under EU rules, such as open internet access.
