PTS to delay allocating 3.5 GHz band

Swedish postal and telecoms regulator PTS said it recommends delaying allocation of frequencies in the 3.5 GHz band, and is inviting comments on this proposal, with a 13 September deadline. The range is of interest for the development of 5G technology, among other things. PTS has found that the use of licences and frequencies for the 3.5 GHz and 3.7 GHz bands is at a very low level.
