Pure Broadband taps CityFibre backbone for Hull WISP service

UK WISP Pure Broadband has announced that it will be the first ISP to use CityFibre's dark fibre backbone network to connect its masts throughout the city of Hull. The deal replaces Pure Broadband's existing network solution, in use since launch in 2008. The project is the latest step in CityFibre's commercialisation of its Hull fibre network project. It began a 62 km fibre rollout, based on its 'Well Planned City' design in late 2014 to deliver backhaul connectivity to mobile operators EE and Three UK, completing all city centre routes before Christmas.
