Pure Telecom signs new wholesale deal with Open Eir

Irish telecoms provider Pure Telecom has signed a 2-year, EUR 35 million infrastructure agreement with wholesale provider Open Eir. The deal will allow Pure Telecom to offer high-speed broadband and phone services to almost 2 million potential customers using Open Eir's nationwide access network. Pure Telecom is looking to aggressively expand its customer base and is targeting 100,000 residential customers by 2019, up from 42,500 in 2016.
