Qatar University uses F5 Networks, Cisco tech in data centre

Qatar University has opened a disaster recovery data centre using technology from F5 Networks and Cisco. The university is now one of the first education institutions in the region to run a software-defined (SDN) disaster recovery data centre that is centralised, rapidly configurable and scalable. The project will also serve a learning resource for SDN research and ICT student development.
