Q.beyond introduces StoreButler IoT platform for retailers

Q.beyond, formerly known as QSC, said it has introduced a cloud and IoT platform for retailers called StoreButler. StoreButler is based on cloud technology and an edge device at each store called StoreButler box. The box connects local terminal devices and sensors to central management in the cloud. StoreButler supplies the digital store infrastructure with product data from the retailer's merchandising system, and processes sensor and device data from points of sale, using standard interfaces.
