Qorvo expands in power SoCs with Active-Semi takeover

Qorvo announced a definitive agreement to acquire Active-Semi International, a private fabless supplier of programmable analog power chips. Active-Semi will become part of Qorvo's Infrastructure and Defense Products (IDP) group and are expected to strengthen its offering for products in 5G, industrial, data centre, automotive and smart home applications by addressing the increased demand for efficient power systems.
