Quantenna selected for Wi-Fi Alliance's ac Wave 2 test bed

Quantenna Communications announced that its QSR1000 4x4 802.11ac Wi-Fi products were selected as part of the updated test bed for the Wi-Fi Alliance Wi-Fi Certified ac interoperability certification. A new set of wave 2 features are added to help achieve evolutionary improvements in speed, range, efficiency and capability to Wi-Fi networks. Quantenna said it was the first company to launch 4x4 MU-Mimo 802.11ac products with its QSR1000 4x4 802.11ac Wave 2 Chipset Family. In addition, the Wi-Fi Alliance also selected Quantenna to provide the first wave 2 compatible Wi-Fi sniffer for the test
