Quarter of German internet users pay for streaming audio services

Three out of four internet users (76%) in Germany listen to audio streaming such as music, podcasts or radio, compared to 72 percent a year ago, according to a survey published by the digital association Bitkom. Six out of ten internet users (59%) use video streaming platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo to listen to music. A similar number percentage (57%) rely on music streaming services such as Spotify, Deezer or Apple Music.
