Quarter of Germans to sell unwanted Christmas gifts online

One in four Germans aged 14 or older plans to sell on their Christmas presents online this year, compared with 15 percent in 2014 and 8 percent the previous year, according to a recent survey conducted on behalf of Bitkom. It found 18 percent of respondents want to sell or auction their presents on platforms such as Amazon or eBay, while 9 percent plan to use flea market or small ad apps on their phones.
